Anyone!!
a few years ago there was a manufacturer that was offering a GIANT Scale ARF Tiger Moth. I think it was a 1/3 scale and the wingspan was close to 100 inches or so, I think. Does anyone have any idea who was offering this particular model. It also had the flying wire controls and I believe it would fly with a 50cc engine. Any help would be appreciated.

that wasn't the one I was thinking about, but thanks anyway. I seen it advertised back in 2008 and 2009 but have not been able to find it again. It was the basic yellow version you see everywhere but it was close to 90 or 100 inches if I'm not mistaken. I guess I will keep looking.

A friend has one of the 105" Jennys from TBM. They had them on clearance last winter. It is likely the same as Maxford's. Everything on the tail is pull-pull. Uses a 50cc engine. It is a big kite. Lots of flying wires to rig.

I just purchased on of the new Maxford 105" Tiger Moths. Ordered it on Father's Day weekend during one of their specials. No shipping!!

First impressions: This is a pretty large aircraft. It came shipped in two large boxes. OK packaging, but one wing had a hole punched in it from the strut-mounting bracket in another wing. Fortunately, they give you a couple of pieces of covering to use for patching repairs. Unfortunately, this repair was on the top surface of the lower right wing, so it's kind of visible. I'll have to see if I can hide it. Use low temp on the sealing iron, as the covering shrinks up and rolls its edges quite quickly.

Otherwise, large control surfaces on the empennage. Lots of plywood in the fuselage structure, with elevator and rudder braided cables pre-set in the fuselage. Very nice large fiberglass cowl...just wish it didn't have that goofy "Woody-Woodpecker" head emblazoned on both sides of the cowl!!

Hinged side doors on both sides of each cockpit...though one hinge does not appear to have a piece of wire holding the hinge together. Should be an easy fix.

Nice hatch on the floor of the rear cockpit, held in by magnets, giving access to servos. Lots of room in the fuselage for almost anything you'd like to put in there.

Tires are foam mounted on aluminum painted wheel hubs. With no real "suspension" to the landing gear, you will need some nice 5-6" Du-Bro air filled wheels to take up some shock. May need to design some type of suspension in the landing gear area.

Engine box is not affixed to the firewall, allowing you to adjust it before epoxying/bolting it into the firewall, to fit your particular engine. Even though the instructions say a 50cc engine is needed, I could see a 50cc levitating this bird straight up. I would think a 30cc would be more than enough, but the weight in the nose would likely be beneficial. I've got a DA-50 to put in the business end...which is what the instructions show.

This will be a Fall project, so I'll keep posting information on the build.

I bought this plane cca. 2 moths ago.
For power I have added DLE 55 with pitts muffler from sgshobby for 25€ and it is much better like original exhaust
I do it some design changes,because now looks better
