doesnt matter if you are looking at exceed, hpi, traxxas, integy or whatever. if its a suspension arm set thats alum, its gonna run you $25-$30. alum parts always cost more than the plastic parts. most of the time, i dont think its worth the money. but there are some exceptions.

alum arms are NOT worth it IMO.
They will just transfer the energy to another part which will have to take alot more force and will snap WAY easier.
Case in point put alum arms on my MT1 jumped it once broke the rear hub off where the arms connected to the chassis(and bent the pin that held them on). put plastics back on and jumped it way harder, and smashed it up more without any damage.

A-arms are pretty much the only thing on a rc car that I wont buy aluminum for reasons stated above. Ill put aluminum anywhere else though. Love the blue.

Aluminum arms will bend hing pins instantly, then break everything the arms are attached to. You don't want aluminum arms, and you don't want aluminum rims.

They bend really easily... they are fine for crawlers and such, but not a car that goes faster than 5mph. I had some really sweet aluminum wheels on a touring car, they lasted about 3 hours before they started ovaling.
