Be more specific please. Is it a 3 channel radio / reciever? What shifting? forward / reverse or 1-2 shifting?

I bought a DX3S awhile back... I couldn't mount the telemetry sensors on any of my models. I had a 3.3 Nitro Rustler and a LST2 w/ Teal Mach 427. The flywheels on both of my engines were too small for the Tach sensor to mount. I would have had to make a custom bracket to get it to work and for what the DX3S costed, I wasn't going to do that. I took it back. I don't know about the Traxxas MT's but it wouldnt work on my Rusty. (as far as telemetry goes) In hindsight, I should have kept it and just gone w/o the telemetry since the 2.4GHz is the way to go now but you might consider the DX3R which is essentially the same radio w/o the telemetry functions. (IIRC that is..)

Isn't the DX3.0 the predecessor to the DX3R/DX3S radio? I think thats the older technology (DSM) and the DX3S/R series is DSM2 compatible. (better technology in the DSM2 AFAIK)
