Default GP Patriot .40 ARF

I picked up a used one and am a bit surprised/disapointed. I did not know that the old ARF's GP made were just like the original EZ ARF's! (Plywood frame wrapped with a foam skin that contained the finish).

Not very repairable if something unfortunte happens, though they did fly very well. I loved my EZ P-51. Flew it with an old OS .60 FS.

GP does not have the manual available for the .40 size on their website. Anyone have one around? I just need the specs. CG mostly, but the suggested throws would be most welcome as well!

The one I have has some damage, If I can peel off the skin in one peice i can fix the wing (one or two crushed ribs).

The fuse looks like a clean break behind the wing saddle. The covering isnt damaged at all. Looks more like hanger rash then anything.

This one came with an OS SF .46, Robort retractcs and all futaba radio stuff inside.

I have e-mailed GP tech support, but I thought anyone here who had one might share any tips on thet plane that might be helpfull. I havent flown anything as fast as this may be, hmm, ever!

Thanks,
Bill S.

Check under discontinued planes.

Thank you for that link!

Not sure how I missed it.
