Brison 4.2 Probs and Questions
Gents,
Recentlyacquireda used 4.2. Starts on first flip once choked even when cold! Runs awesome, great trans, great power UNTIL - its airborne!
This is on a Rev 1 Wild Hare Edge. Ive tried the following, Turning velo stack around, taken it off, rebuilt carb, checked all fuel lines, tank, etc.
The one big tip off for me is that the carb plate was tapped for (I can only guess) an atmospheric nipple and line. The nipple is gone and there was tape over the hole. There is another hole in the plate as well on the edge.
I was going to put another one on it and see if that helps. Its obvious to me that its not so much flight related but wind into carb somehow. Does it w/ and w/out cowl and It will deadstick after burbling heavily and no response.
Also.. I attached a pic, does anyone know why the mount has an RCA jack in it? Is that the new Brison w/painted head and iPod hookup? I tried to plug my headphones into that but to no avail?
Thanks for your help in advance.
One of my old conversionss to a Walker Sachs...The ignition was originally inside the mount, the jack is where the battery was connected to the igniton....The air can still affect the diaphragm through the side hole...Put a tube in the side hole or plug it and put a fitting in the center for a line into the fuse.....

Geeze most of you are too tired or OLD to reply? Is RCU nowGeriatricPark?
So this is a SachsConversion.. Ok i get it now. Thanks Antique for your energetic reply. Is it not amazing to see where your old stuff shows up?
The pressure line was next in line so not a huge surprise.
Thanks guys though for your help. I think they are calling for Bridge in the Community Room so you can go now.
