Default My newest creation

Well this is the newest creation to come out of my head
I call it the Trank. I designed it based off of a Tiger 1 tank (and used some of the tigers spare parts in its construction)
I've actually been acquiring parts for the better part of the past 2 months.(shipping from china is SLOW)

Well as you can see in the pics its a unique deign which came about one day after I was trying to figure out a use for a pile of parts I had laying around from past things, along with some ideas I had in my head for awhile but never had anything to use on.

The design started from the HPI body I picked up
I'll be honest it went together almost too easy [:@]. I was expecting more issues with it.

For the controller I used a 6 channel airplane controller that I modified so both sticks are spring loaded for centering instead of the throttle stick staing where you put it.

One of the things that did disappoint me was I thought the XL 2.5s had mode 4. So to go reverse on a track I have to hit down 2 times [:@]
Other was the Parma faskolor beige paint. I swear this is the WORST color I've used to date. After you put it on it looks, and feels like dried mud.

2 thinks I will eventually change
First off is I will be ordering a metal gearbox for it.
Secondly I'm also looking for a pinion to put on a titan 380 so I can slap dual titans on the gearbox's to hopefully make it faster. Or hell I could go look for 2 small BL motors and go dual brushless for some real speed

Well I thought of making a BIGFOOT BRUSHLESS TANK.
Maybe you was thinking the same thing putting a truck shell on it.

Cool Syco, looks like one of those monster tanks you get to see at the monster truck shows, will it run over a RC car like the real ones???

thx for the comments

As for running stuff over sadly no its the size of a 1/10th Stadium truck. Well maybe losi micros or a mini it could drive over no issue.
The fronts also too light so if it climbs anything too high it ends up on the rear. Been thinking of things I could use the other 3 channels for and slap on the front to weigh it down a bit.

ElectricGuy007 Someone like 3 weeks back posted a monster tank video in one of the forums, and that sealed the deal on how it was going to look

At first I thought the body was a datsun or something... because of the paint.

Alot of people did it with a Blizzard.
If I even thought about getting a tank, Id have to use a stick radio so I could take full advantage of it.
