Default need tires for this, help!

i just got this roller.
the rear end is off some sort of pan car chassis i believe.

the rear tires are shot, and id like something simillar. needs to be wide tires, and id like ones a bit taller.

the hex looks to be 14mm. larger than the touring car rims i have

any ideas guys? i got a 12t losi ESC, a 2s lipo batt and a speed gems motor ready to drop in this machine. should be pretty quick!

What about some foams?
would much prefer rubber. plan on running in a parking lot, and there is alot of sand on it. i think it would chew up foams really quickly.

The Schumacher Menace GTR uses a 14mm hex. http://www.racing-cars.com/sp/catego...oad_Tyres.html
Whether you will be able to get them in the US is another matter, you may be better off putting a different hex on.

Edit- This site may also be of use to you, http://tm-rc-racingcomponents.com/index.htm

well, it does seem foam tires are much easier to get.

how well do the hold up on pavement? i thought foam tires were for indoor carpet tracks?

pan-cars in general are a segement rc i never really got into before.

OH, are most rims listed for pan cars all 14mm hex? alot of the ads on ebay for foam tires include rims, and the kinda look right but it doesnt show the backside of the rim and doesnt list the hex size. just says for 1/12 and 1/10 pan cars.

Dragster foams are a lot softer and stickier than pan car foams, but they are also for a 4 bolt parma or bolink/std. type hub, not 14mm hex.

The tmaxx uses 14mm hex I believe.
