i hear good and not so good about this co..........i have heard it takes weeks to get ideas and there shipping cost is very high..TRUE?..........what the best way to pay for things...C/C.....BANK CARD...or money orders???????????THANKS FOR ANY HELP

I only order from them a few times a year and so far I have had good luck with them. I always use paypal and would never give them a credit card number. It is true that they can have good prices on their actual items you buy, but the shipping cost can be higher than other hobby stores. Their shipping time I think can very quite a bit. When I order stuff from them, I believe I always get it within 1 to 2 weeks.

Just do a search here on RCU and see what others have to say about HK. I fly with a lot of people that use them and they are all pretty happy with there products. Just never place an order for anything that is on back order or out of stock or you may grow old waiting for it. If I need something from them I wait until one of the guys is placing a big order and have them order what I need too, then they use express shipping so it is here in a few days. It's an over seas company so if there is a problem it's your problem. Even with there new warehouse here state side.

I have ordered a few things from them and have had good luck. If you are thinking of ordering airplanes, large ones,the shipping can double the price if it comes out of China. I would only order them from the US warehouse. Definitely don't do any backorder or out-of-stock stuff. So far, everything has been as stated and in good order when I got it. I understand from the reviews for the products that thier customer service for warranty, etc, sucks.

I have over 50 orders with them and have had few issues. Yes it takes a while to get here from China, no matter what China company you order from. That's the shipping problem and not the company problem. Shipping large boxes is expensive, again no matter where you order it from. It seems funny to me that people complain about $50 shipping from China, but say nothing about $150 shipping a large ARF from the East coast. I have had 2 returns with HK products, that they handled promptly, once the article was in their hands. It takes as long to ship to China as it does to ship from China. One package I returned took 6 weeks to get back to Hobby King, where they immediately handled the problem.

It is true they are out of stock quite often, but that seems common for the Chinese companys. They must all sell quite a bit of product. Work around the out of stock stuff, realize shipping may take a couple of weeks, and look at the shipping options for cost.

it usally takes a month to get the item, NEVER buy if its on back order, returns/warranty more effort then worth but the prices are so low just get another if it goes bad.
