Default Super Cap Build Help??

I just recieved the Super Cap 232 45" foam kit from 3dfoamy.com. I uploaded the proper files from the disk enclosed in the package (which came in very good condition), and realized that the plans are not reflecting the model. In short:

The model kit I got has several layers for each control surface and each part (fuselage, body, etc.). The plans show one thicker layer.

Does anyone have plans or build instrictions for the latest (just cut when ordered) Super Cap 232? Please help, I am officially lost, along with my fellow modelers.

-John

This is the original link I purchased the plane from:http://www.3dfoamy.com/index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=product&task=sh ow&cid=10&name=supercap-232-114m&Itemid=7&category_pathway=12

John, there are no plans on the disc for the super cap, there is plans for a pro cap, which like you said is a single layer. No plans are needed to build any 3DFoamy kit, just follow the instructions for the super cap and itll turn out fine.

Ok, So I'm assuming the hollowed out layers are the middles. But the questions arise when we're determining the locations for the carbon fiber rods the airfoils and such which are nefinitely not outlined in any of the plans shown which are "not needed for assembly." Please help.

The SUPER kit manuals show where to put the carbon rods. The PRO and SUPER kits are 100% different in construction and the manuals do not help on either.

I just looked at the SUPERCAP manual and page 6 it shows exactly where to put carbon, and even says to use the supplied carbon strips.

Thanks John. I was looking at the standard Cap 232 manual instead of the SuperCap. My apologies.

No worries John, I figured thats probably what was happening, hope it goes easier for you now

Tip that makes building easier for me, is laminating one side, installing the carbon, then laminating the final side, this is a must on the wing with the spar.

Keep in mind its a foamy, if one layer gets off a little during the build, just sand the edges so they are flush after wards.

John,
Thanks for the help. Here is a link to a set of a few pictures of my build:http://www.flickr.com/photos/jgallet...7627277229740/ I worked on it from 8am-11pm yesterday and all I have left to do is install the control horns and electronics.
The kit is a breeze. :-) Can't wait to fly it.

Sure thing! I've flown it maybe 6 times so far. I'll be finishing and posting pictures of the paint job tonight. It flies great! I've got my radio programmed for snap rolls and dual rates for it. - I'm also going to be experimenting with flaperon mixes and Elev>Flap mixes to see what kind of performance I can get out of it (I'll be experimenting "a few mistakes high" when I do so). Once I'm comfortable enough with it to show RCU, I'll post a video.

Here are my specs:

Motor: GForce E400 Brushless Outrunner Motor (2815-1200KV)
ESC: Hobbywing Pentium 30A Brushless ESC
Battery: GForce 30C 1300mAh 3S 11.1V LiPO
Servos: 4 -TowerPro MG90S Metal Gear Micro/Mini Servos (13.4g, 31oz/in
)
Prop: EMP Neodym 11 X 4.7 Electric Slow Flyer Prop
Receiver: Futaba R617FS
Radio: Futaba 7C

I'll also be experimenting with a 9 X 6 slow flyer prop. Any suggestions for improvement to my setup?
