Need Timing Specs DLA56/DLE55(exhaust port angle/area, and trasfer port angle)
I need the specs on the DLA56/DLE55 (reading that they are essentiall the same): exhaust port angle, exhaust area, and trasfer port angle.
Many thanks,

What you want is for someone to do about $800.00 worth of work and give it away. Essentially the engineering design specs for the top end. Call DA since it's essentially the same cylinder.....

Ididn't think that it was a trade secret. Figured someone already took the specs for the purpose of making their own tuned pipe, and would be willing to share with the rest of us.

Not secrets, but not tools, time, and effort most want to give away. Easier, and cheaper in the long run, to purchase an already commercially available tuned pipe for a DA 50.

You can physically collect all this data yourself directly from the engine.

Engine is not mine, and not in my possession. Someone asked me to make one for them, Ijust need the dimensions , he needs the specs. Figured I would post here and ask.

I've mapped all the port timings (boost, transfer and exhaust I believe I took) on my DLE-55 and my DL-100, but unfortunately don't have them on me here at work. If I remember tonight I'll post them for you.

If you had a Spektrum radio all that information would be fed back and available for readout on your screen....

That's funny Ernie.
Back to the timing figures, not sure if anyone else has noticed but the DL50 is a different bore and stroke than the DA50. It also has different timing figures. At least mine are different.
