Jetcat P160 slides Forward

RE: Jetcat P160 slides Forward
Bob W. told me to shim my P180 mount. He said cut a coke can and put it under the straps and wrap it around to the part that does not touch the case to keep it in place. Of course I found something about double the thickness and shimmed it...works fine. They make a nce turbine but the mounts just plain suck. Not a lot of thought behind that design, huh?

I had this problem years ago and came up with this solution. It is 100% full proof and in hundreds of flights none of my turbines have moved even 1mm!!
When installing the turbine mounting straps to my turbines, I always fit a shim made of rubberized gasket material. You can find this in small rolls at most automotive stores. This keeps the turbine from shifting around in the mount. I also clamp the mount together with 8-32 socket head screws, washers and stop nuts.

How much damage if any can be done if the turbine case is bent from the turbine pushing the screws so as to bend the case mine is bent but have not had any problem so far with the Two P160SX I have KingCat and Ultra Lightning.
Sound like a easy Fix but to bad the MFG have not inform the Customer. must not be to much of a problem??????
Thanks for the help
