Default nitro chassis ID please

found on ebay, and for some reason took pitty on it and bought it.

I think it was a run-away. I dont even know if the motor will be any good.

It may not run. will need a new "AA" holder at the least.

but i also have no idea what brand/model it is.

hope someone can id from the pics.

Might be an HPI RS4. I could be wrong though.

did a google search for hpi rs4 pics.

some simillarities. but my chassis has an upside-down mounted steering servo. seems a fairly unique feature.

un less its a much older version of the rs4, which is possible. i have no idea the age of it, tho it doesnt look all that old.

It definently not an rs4. ther are some similarities between them though. it looks more like an rs4 3 than a it does the older rs4 2

the car arrived today.

the body is thrashed, looks like crap. i probly have a body i can put on it tho.

i replaced the bad rx battery box, and put my own 2.4ghz radio and reciver on it.

put full in it, primed the tank, 15 pulls later it fired up.

it was super rich, so i tuned it.

not a very fast car(by todays standards) but its a small motor and it did run very well. didnt stop till the last drop of fuel was gone from the tank.

so, i think i did pretty good for a $40 car!

Maybe so...id like to see pictures if he does one. Shouldnt be that hard.
I hear people converting RC10 GT's over to brushless rather easy.

one would have to change the spur gear setup, make a motor mount and such. do-able but probly not worth it really.

I would have considered it, but since the car runs good i will leave it as-is.

thanx for the links.
i put it up on the RCU marketplace for sale or trade.
if i dont get any good offers i will keep it. just i dont often run nitros i have. I am pretty happy how well the car runs tho. I really dont think it had many tanks run threw the motor!

this little car runs shockingly well!

the motor is very easy to start, and takes a tune like nothing.

i have had many used nitros, all of which i ended up trading away cause i could never get them to run right.

but this small .15 motor is a breeze to run.

i did however strip a spur gear today. glad you guys found those links so i could order a new one.
