Brushless E-Revo Thread
I can't find a thread for the BL E-Revo that is less than 2 years old so I think it's time to start fresh and see if people are interested in posting on here.
So if you already have one or want to get one post here with your pics, videos, questions, comments, and reviews.
If no-one is interested in posting I'll post here from time to time just to show off my ride when I do upgrades and stuff so I don't have to start a new thread each time.

RE: Brushless E-Revo Thread
Thanks t9... I'm not sure if I started this thread in the right place there is a lot of nitro heads in here (not that that's a bad thing). I was thinking of posting in the RC Electric Off-Road Trucks, Buggies, Truggies and more but I see the E-Revo as more of a monster truck and when I think of a truck I think more of a slash or any of the many short course trucks around... I wish they had an electric monster truck section but until then I'll just squeeze in where I can, anyway all I want to do is be able to bounce things off other BL E-Revo owners so hopefully a few of them find their way here.

sweet ride t9 why did you get rid of it ??? looks like you dropped some money into it would you ever think about getting a brushless one ? I notice in some of your other posts you seem to be a bit tired of traxxas.

RE: Brushless E-Revo Thread
I paid $200 for it with the stock body, wheels, tires and all of the RPM. I painted the Bug body and the Slipstream body. The pictures I posted show it as brushed but I ran it brushless with a MMM2350 setup.. It was fun to drive but I had bought the Savage Flux a few months before and so I never really drove the E-Revo but maybe a dozen times before I traded it as the brushed version for a RTR Savage X 4.6... Don't get me wrong in some of my posts about Traxxas, I think they make some great RC's. But I have realized that I like the HPI RC's just a little bit more... If it wasn't for Traxxas 13 years ago when I got my oldest his first RC (Rustler), I probably wouldn't have gotten back in the hobby like I have done.

I'm in the process of converting a 2.5R revo to electric. Got it to a roller. No electronics yet. Still need to snap some photo's of it then I'll post it up here.

looks good LaTuFu. I ordered some of those tires and seeing that pic makes me more excited waiting to get them. I'll be putting mine on summit rims.

RE: Brushless E-Revo Thread
I had never heard of Corrosion X so me and my buddy google did a little research and it seems to be pretty good stuff. You probably know all about it but or those who don't check out this page http://corrosionxproducts.com/howcxworkspage.htm I don't like the idea of spraying stuff all over my truck or my motor because if I don't like the residue I'm pretty much stuck with it and I'm happy to keep away from water so I probably will never use it but it is very impressive stuff. Even claims to displace salt crystals so it could be helpful for people who want to run at the beach with their summits and minis.
