Just 5 bucks??? Niiiiice. ... it's about time you stopped gouging the pilot's wallets.

... just kiddin' Mike. I know it's $15.

BTW, do you have a rough pilot count for the weekend?

It's back in shape already. Might be a couple of scabs on it but you won't see them at 300' AGL.

It'll be good to see you there Pete. Bring the F-15. I discussed your elevator servo to control surface horn with Jeff this past weekend at Area 51. He said his pushrod aligned well between the servo and control horn. There shouldn't be any difference between the kit and your ARF.

Well everyone....first day over and what a great day it was. 24 registered pilots. Flying of all type's. Lots of Jets! Electric's, gas and Glow both 4 stroke and 2-stroke. And lets not forget Mike t's parachute guy leaping into the wild blue yonder from a piper cub! Those of you who didn't come really missed a great first day....and the weather report is even better tomorrow!

A big Thank You goes out to Big Mike and the fantastic event he has once again put together for the pilots.

Congratulations to New Hampshire's KFX450 (Erik) for the long awaited Turbine Waiver he has earned on Saturday.... Great job Erik!

BigBri and the 'Other White Meat' (Dominic M.) played nice with each other this weekend..... I think the donut leader hanging from rope, did the trick from the last event.... BTW BigBri..... my-lung choking, sky-darkening smoke system set up is Trade marked, so don't even think about matching it!

I think Plum Island had almost 30 registered pilots, almost half were propeller pilots and it was a pleasure to see we all co-existed happily all weekend. [8D]

Jetkopter (Don D.), I'm buying a decent sized para-jumper for next year.... bigger is better!... Jeff Lynds will work with you for your Jump Waiver Certificate.

Good weather, light winds and no airplane losses, made this event a home run!

Frank Alvarez spent a considerable portion of his time working with a new turbine guy and his great looking F-16 to join the ranks... Thanks Frank.
Lenny 'Max' Smart gets an 'atta boy' for answering the spectator's questions all day and offering the parents to have their kid's picture taken with an R/C jet... You're a good man Lenny!

.... Now, I'm just waiting for someone to post some pics

Here's a couple for you. Thanks Mike F for organizing the event, had a blast. Pretty in pink, don't you think? Your trademark might be in trouble............

Thanks Mike F for organizing this event .... and congratulations to you for successfully designing your own jet aircraft. That is quite an accomplishment .... and it looks and flew great.

I liked having the event open to the prop planes as well. I now have new incentive/ambition to finish my 40 cc warbird.

Of course my primary winter project will be to buy/assemble an RC Parachuter ..... Mike T and those guys were simply having way too much fun.

Bob

well now this is embarassing....you got a photo of me next to Dominics purse....I think we all know pink is his color...mine is a lavender! : ) And Mike you know your secret is safe with me........Mmmmmm Maybe : ).....The great "smoke off" begins....Lets see what the spring brings!

Also just want to thank Mike for a great event! Two days of great flying. The Mixed event was a LOT of fun...Who knew Jets, props, electrics and glow could play in the same sandbox so well! Also Mike fantastic job on your new design...take care of my plane for me!

Stay warm everybody I will see you all in the spring!

Wayne just sent me an email with the video clip link of his mini-camera taped to the leg of the R/C skydiver.... it's a pretty cool video.

Jetkopter is at the sticks of the skydiver.

Tell that woman who I scared with my spot landing that Im sorry! [X(][X(][X(] Mike , thanks for letting my show Jeff Lynds the proper way to sky dive. Next year I think we need to build a bigger one , maybe with a backpack motor for some more speed and distance. Yeah thats it a turbine powered one with A P-20 between his legs.
