Default WALBRO Metering cover upgrade CNC

Hello all engines lovers,

Dedicated for Gas Model Ebgines, and aftermore than a year testing on several engines and Pilts, I build CNC aluminium upgrade metering covers for WALBRO WA / WT and WB / WJ Series.
<font size="2">Set up in less than 2 minutes with the 4 original screws. It Increasesair chamber between the metering diaphragm and M4 thread on the top to fit a straight or bent nipple (non provided /as you need) then you can use a hose destinate to pick up no perturbated air behind the firewall of your favourite RC airplane. Advantages : 1) your engine carburetor will not suffer of pressures / depressures into the cowl andgenerated by the propeller airflow (create rpm variations) 2) The incresead air chamber generate a very smooth transition between atmospheric pressure variation during altitude variations.

I am not able to read what the French version of eBay says. Is there an auction on the US eBay site?

The english version is the second paragraph.
Upgrade 37,5 x 46 mm aluminium CNC machined cover metering diaphragm for WALBRO WB or WJ serie or all "Chinese equivalent". Designed, tested and approved by olivier ROGEAU "eulboyington" ; Set up in less than 2 minutes with the 4 original screws. Increase air chamber between the metering diaphragm and M4 thread on the top to fit a straight or bent nipple (non provided / as you need ) then you can use a hose destinate to pick up no perturbated air behind the firewall of your favourite RC airplane. Advantages : 1) your engine carburetor will not suffer of pressure / depressure into the cowl and generated by the propeller airflow (create rpm variations) 2) The incresead air chamber generate a very smooth transition between atmospheric pressure variation during altitude variations ( especially when aerobatic flights)

WALBRO, ZENOAH, DA, DL, DLE, DLA, RCGF, GH, JC Engines, 3W, ZDZ, Desert Aircraft, etc

I could read the description, but not any of the official eBay jargon.

I just solder a piece of brass tubing over the hole in the plate, for free. That thing is what, about $30 plus shipping, I don't see the point.

I believe you may have missed the point. His claim is that the increased air chamber volume between the metering diaphragm and the deeper cover generates a smooth transition between atmospheric pressure variations. It is not intended to serve only as a place to attach a fitting.
You may have to pay "about $30 plus shipping" to find out if really works.

I may have to turn one up on the lathe and see if it helps.

That is exactly what I am going to do...make my own. I may use my mill in combo with my lathe to make one. A fun easy project!!!!!!!!!!! Capt,n

Lotsa stuff on here is "must have"....Lotsa stuff on here makes no difference at all in how an engine runs, just someone's opinion, like oil brand...
Yes, oil brand is important, for the average fun flyer it makes no difference...An engine will run for years using Amsoil at 100-1....Unless you fly way more than an average weekend fun flyer, even Lawn Boy works well....
