Default Leading edge sheeting

This works for the leading edge as well as the sheeting, 1/4 sq sticks and rubber bands

Ya gotta love these types of tips! Thx much.

I'm not gonna tell you how long it took me to figure out a similar solution. With longer rubber bands you can certainly use the approach for wider sheeting. Also, if the LE piece is soft just add a sacrificial piece in front of the LE piece.

Just feeding off of j's work, if the LEof the sheeting does not stand proud of the LE, you can slip a piece of scrap down the length of the LEsheeting under the rubber bands - the red in attached pic.

I tried that and could not get the sheeting to lay down tight againt the ribs. Could have just been a tighter airfoil (curve) or less bendable (if that's a word) sheeting. Too bad I didn't discover till after the glue dried. From there I just pinned the leading edge into the ribs and ran a bead of thick ca down the main spar. That worked fine.

Works great... also helps if you shape the top and bottom of the LE to meat the rib curve... allows the band to sit flush on the sheeting. I placed a piece scrap as stated in the past but mine got stuck in a couple places so now I just do a partial shaping needed to get the sheeting on.
