New Revo Engine
I need a new engine for my revo. I want a direct drop in as BB engines always move when dropped on their head and I keep eatting spur gears. My drive train and tranny have been upgraded and can handle pretty much anything I throw at it. I would prefer a pullstart motor. Any suggestions?

RE: New Revo Engine
U are going to have the same problem with any drop in motor...
Why not do what i did.... drill a small hole neer the motor mount at the edge of the chassis, and screw in a bolt to stop the mount from moving outward....
dammm dont have any pics.... did find this, its a nother little mod I did to mine....
HPI battery moniter...

RE: New Revo Engine
Thats a shame u couldent get it to work, wonder what u did wrong??? with mine there is no way the motor can move its hard up against the screw...
Ur question has been asked a few time, honestly sometime its good to do your own research that way u can get a bigger understanding of what people use.
this is the first google result... & happens to be RCU

Please dont get offended, but if u want the most out of ur r/c cars, u need to do ur own research & dont rely on others or random forum members...
As u might or might not know there are lots of motors that will work with a revo. some require slight mods (bigblock motor mount) but its worth it...
dont get put off because u might have to buy a additional $18 part
