BLADE MCX2 - charger blinking
Iam new to the electric helicopter dealeo. Ibought a Blade MCX2 and was having a blast. I purchased a second battery but then my little E-flite DCLi-Po charger started to misbehave.
First thing everyone says is, "Did you check your batteries in the charger?"
Yes, I put two different NEW sets of batteries in to be sure.
When I plug my 125mAh 1-Cell/1S 3.7V (.5 Wh) ThunderPower Pro Lite 25Cbattery (original)into the charger, it immediately starts flashing the red light on the charger. Normally it's solid while it charges the battery for 20-35 min. So did something happen to the battery? How many charge cycles do these batteries usually endure? I would be I've done it 18 - 24 times.
Iwent to the local shop, bought another battery, and come to think of it... it was when I bought the new battery after using it a couple times the charger started misbehaving.
So I look at the battery, and it isn't identical. It's a 3.7V 120mAh Li-Po but it's 14C not 25C like the original. Would that mess up my charger???
Any insights, thoughts, similar experiences? Do the chargers "go bad"?
Thanks for any insight.
