looks like a t-maxx from pics of one I saw
as for the motor it was probably replaced.
Not very uncommon kinda like with electrics how many do you truly see stock
As for the chassis plate all the ones I saw were blue (unless its an older one I didn't se a pic of) so maybe they used a cleaner to strip the blue off. I've seen that done on other nitros cause ppl hated the anodized color.

Not a T-Maxx, it's a Smartech Magic wheel. FAR crappier, but 80% of the real Traxxas parts fit. If you compare it with a real T-Maxx, you notice all the different parts, like the engine, chassis, shocks, receiver box, and other small things.

sheesh why didn't they just stamp traxxas's name on that thing
I will be honest noticed the box in front of the nitro tank was missing but thought the previous owner might have removed it
