RE: Mobil 1 in 4-stroke 190cc Lawn Mower
I run syn in my 75cc lawn mower. Doesn't get changed for a couple years! Takes about 1.5 litres from memory (which is what I had left after changing the Saab and Rover). The side valve engines gunk up badly on traditional motor oil - it is clean as clean on this stuff. The only gunk now is cuttings in the head fins that need raking out. No more fouled plugs either.
They are very lightly loaded and I don't think you would kill one on any sort of engine oil.

It is fine to run Mobile 1 in a lawn mower....as long as you clean the air filter often and make sure the float does not stick, dumping gas in the oil. Gas or dirt in the oil is not good if you plan not to change the oil for long periods of time. Capt,n

Replaced air filter and did an oil change, this thing runs nice now. Before I would have a bit of a bog if I went over tall grass with clippings on it. Now it just plows right through.
Many thanks guys.
