Older DX3 vs new DX3E
I'm looking to build a 1/10 drift car and need to pick up a radio system for it, I've spent a lot of time with Mini-Zs but this will be my first 1/10.
I found an older DX3 for 50 dollars with a servo but no Rx, and I was wondering if this would be a better choice than going with a new DX3E. The DX3E doesn't seem to be programmable while it looks like the DX3 is? (I'm just going by the fact that it has a screen). Which of these would serve me better, or do I need to just shell out for the DX3C if I want anything worthwhile.
Recommendations of other brands are fine as well, I'm just looking for something of decent quality and ideally programmable at a relatively low price.
EDIT:
Wow it took me until now to see the radios subforum in the cars section, feel free to delete or move this thread.
