Replacing Piston on DLE 20
Not sure what got in my cylinder but my piston needs to be replaced. Can anyone school me on replacing a piston for the DLE 20 or if you have a link where I can read about it it would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Just pop the circlips out, push the wrist pin out, and the piston comes right off.
Four critical things:
1. Don't push or hammer on the wrist pin so hard that you bend the rod. (Sometimes a little heat from a propane torch on the piston helps the pin slide out easier).
2. Don't damage the wrist pin bearing and/or any spacer washers along side it.
3. Make absolutely sure that the piston is installed the same way, with the pin in the ring land facing the same way as originally. On some engines there is an arrow that should point towards the front of the engine, or an "e" that should point towards the exhaust port. What is imperative, is that the ring gap does not end up where it crosses the exhaust port nor transfer ports during the piston travel.
4. The wrist pin circlips need to be installed so that the "tang" on them, (the part you grab with needle nose pliers to remove or install), is oriented vertically. (Up and down, the same way the piston travels.)
