Default Saito Gas Setup

I have a FG 17 Saito gas engine. It is a pumped engine. I know that my fuel tank must be vented but I don't know how to vent it and it not leak when the plane is inverted. Anyone know about fuel tank venting ? Thanks John Pope

It may be a pumped engine but that pump is very weak. You have to mount the tank right up against the firewall.

To vent a tank, take the line that you would normally run to the nipple on the muffler and loop it back behind the tank and then forward of the tank and outside to the open air. That's it.
