Motor quitting
I ran my new motor for the first time, after throttling up the motor quit after a few seconds.I throttled down and then up again and the motor quit again after a few seconds...???

What battery do you have.. those symptoms suggest that your battery voltage is dropping too far and you are hitting LVC.
.. or that your ESC is set for 4s when you are using 3s, [or set for 3s when you are using 2s] and the voltage is too low from the outset.

The motor has a max draw of 23 amps and continuous of 19 amps.
You should always have a speed control that has a higher amp rating than the motor being used.
Here is a thought, how many cars would a manufacture sell if they only used a motor that would only allow the car to max out at 50 mph?
And if you tried to drive 55 it would quit or blow up.
You can fly it at half throttle.
