Yellow A/C Kits Now Back In Stock
Hi,
Just wanted to let you guys know that everything (except the F-22) is back in stock and ready to ship now. Still no ARF's, but all of our kits are freshly restocked. As always, you get a discount when you order through ME. No tax, and at-cost shipping, too! I'm available by email and anytime by phone (before midnight Pacific time, please) for advice, consults or just BSing about planes. 619-944-7574.
Check out the near-miss at 7:15 in this video of the F-22 ARF....

Hi,
If I'm feeling El Cheapo, I just use boat resin (from the auto parts store) and glass cloth strips after I've tacked the formers in with C.A. If I'm spending a little more, I use Hysol. Roughed with 80 grit, then wiped with acetone, the polyester glass and Hysol work superbly together.

Hi,
Nope, not at all. There have been some rumors flying around, but I assure you those have more to do with people who like to sound like they're on the inside track than it does with reality. We're not going anywhere anytime soon. The F-22 is discontinued because not enough people were buying them to justify continued production. We still have the tooling, so I suppose a guy could get one special ordered (although it would be astronomically expensive to ship direct from the factory). The market and demand change, so the manufacturers have to as well.
Anyway, Yellow isn't going anywhere--even when Charles does eventually retire some years down the line.

By the way, I had to prop-up the right side of my monitor to view the video in level flight.
The quality of your video is great. What camera are you using?

Hi,
Yeah, it's a bit of a gauntlet over there, but the wires look worse than they are. The street light was kind of a pucker. The angle is funny because the camera is taped to the top of the intake which is angled. The camera is some little Chinese keychain camera that another guy at the field turned me onto.

Hi Guys : Just wanted to let you know that we have two F18's going to be built in Toronto and will be posting on a Canadian site. It will be a very detailed build thread. The planes will have Voy's cockpit with functioning MFD's and HUD, Brian's landing gear detail and nav lights from Dan Gill. The best part is Graeme Mears works for me and will me mentoring us during the build
