Default wheel/tire help needed for a TB-03

Ok, so I have a Tamiya TB03, Im running a 2 cell Castle Sidewinder v2 and 7700 Motor... At 38mph on the first run, the stock tires tore the sidewalls off.... What would be a good tire/wheel combo to run? Its not being used for racing, just asphalt parking lots

Try HPI belted or belted radial X-Patterns. They don't "balloon," so won't tear apart at speed. They come in two compounds, so be aware, the "race," or soft compound will wear rather quickly. If you're running in cool temps, they will be the best bet, however. The medium compound lasts a little longer, but take a while to run up to temperature to stick well enough in cool weather.

They are a bit pricey, but a good choice for asphalt tires and foams wouldn't as much rip of the wheels, as "chunk," meaning bits of foam will tear off the tires.
