No big deal, this was bought on the recommendation of a local jet pilot, the more I find out the worse it gets, going to start from scratch with another manufacture, upon recommendations of RCU people..
I still prefer the Viper and want something from 90 to 100 inch wing span, so start the ideas coming.

Your only hope is to contact Nir at Nirlybuilt.com he is James right hand man for everything FEJ now(State side and lives in the same town as James). There are no other US reps due to every person having the same issues as yourself. Good luck and welcome to the club

I recently purchased a FEJ Viper jet M and was going to assemble it, but ran into issues at the onset.
1. No Instructions pertaining to this Model aircraft and its assembly.
2. Parts missing
3. No hard points in ANY control surfaces to mount the horns. Crash waiting to happen!!
4. NO Support
5. Sloppy build from factory on installed parts
6. Brake line connection inverted.
7. Damaged cockpit inserts
8. Servo mounting points to small or weak
9. No light control unit as promised.
10. All struts bind
11. Paint chips
12. Paint on flaps three different colors
13. Sloppy workmanship on flap and aileron mounting.
14. Stab holes to small which leaves for weak points after enlarged.
15. Holes in honey comb
Many more engineering issues, please advise..
No response from USA rep. and no Response from FEJ
searching for another manufacture and looking for recommendations ? a $4000.00 mess..

This is typical of FEJ and their reps. Doesn't surprise me in the least.
I'd have a long talk with your local jet pilot "friend" who advised you to buy from FEJ.

Skymaster & Fei Bao Jets make Vipers in the size you are requesting. While both these companies take years to test and develop a sturdy and airworthy jet, FEJ cuts out the R&D to get their jets into market within a few months. FEJ has their customers unwittingly do the R&D at their own expense.

Sorry about your loss of money in dealing with FEJ. You are not alone.

It seems like each has progressed in their own way but lets not forget where everyone began from....

Sadly that thread could have had some valuable information for newbies. But the poll was tainted by FEJ and more than 100 friends using either the name long* or yang* (all joined RCU within a few days of each other near the time of the thread) to throw the results... really incredible. What a farce.
But, I like the idea of having a thread listing out the "good stuff". I am sure this information is already on RCU but scattered. A concentrated and organized thread would really help modelers.

Well...I'm now convinced that my T-33 is not from FEJ ... during the building process everything fits... no missing parts.. @ hamburg Jet Rally..people asking me who makes my T-33 it doesn't look like a FEJ..the quality remind me of my ULTRA FLASH..but I could have been one of lucky ones
Oh sorry about your Fej Viper wish you bought the FEJ SPORT JET instead..I need data.

I think if FEJ flight tested their designs better, that may be a good start ... Here is a team that might be more than capable of doing this for them !
