Looking for members for NEW tank club in Mid Michigan
Hello all,
I'm a new tanker here in Michigan (I'm between Flint and Lansing), and I've searched for tanks clubs here in Michigan to join, but have come up short. Therefore, I would like to start my own club. I'm looking for the 1/16 RC tankers that both love their hobby and would like to get together with others who share their same passions and interest in the hobby as well. I haven't worked out all the details as of yet, but I'm in a search for those who may be interested in forming a NEW and LASTING club in the Michigan area. If you are interested you can reply back here and we can go from there. I found this to be an awesome hobby with great ties to history as well..........a great teacher for the younger generation who would rather watch the tanks in motion then read a history book. I'm looking and wanting to do things tied to community events as to perhaps interest others in the hobby as well as EXPAND the hobby to make it as popular as say RC flying or buggy racing. Let me know what you thoughts are or if you're interested please. Right now as of today, club membership stands at one.

I'm not sure of any details or anything as of yet, but I'm looking into something that we can keep fairly centered in the state maybe. A lot of variables to consider depending who we can get interested. You can PM me and we can discuss it more. Do you have any friends that are in the hobby as well? I live in Owosso. I did finally get a message for a member of the DTC, and I guess they are having a tank battle in Oxford, MI at the High school gym on the 29th. (if you're interested) I'm going to see what's going on and to get some ideas for things here in the near future. There is me and a friend of mine right now, but I'm hoping the interest catches on............
