ZDZ-90 with a large 3-blade prop
Anyone ran this engine with a 27X10 or even 27X12 3-blade? I'l like to use it for a warbird whose scale prop diameter is 29 inches (close enough). 27X12 appears to be in range of the recommended props, with claims of close to 5500 rpm on a 27X12 (TBM website) but it just seems almost like too good to be true... Anyone tried something like that? if so, what were the results?
