electrical help please
ok on my 1/8car i have the ripper motor and i used the esc from hobby wing that comes with the 1/8 drift car and the esc burned out then i used a turnigy trackstar 1/8 esc and that burned out so i used my 180 turnigy boat esc and the rx started smokeing so i puy a new rx on and then the t180 started to smoke and burned out what can be the problem im running4s also. whats the problem motor?

To be able to help u correctly can I please got some more information?
What brand and type of car do u have? stock size wheels?
radio gear?
what gearing is it running?
whats the specs on the batteries (ie volts, mah and C)
and just to confirm
U have a "ripper" motor that's the 74mm 2000kv and with that its smoked a hobbywing ESC and a turnigy trackstar ESC
then using a 180 turnigy boat esc it smoked the receiver.
When did the first ESC smoke... after driving for a bit or straight away?

1/8 ofna dm all stock i never had a chance to really run it i put one the mod 34pinon and 34 spur and just pluging stuff up it burned out im running 4s 40c 4000mah yes it burned it all up right away after powering up but the first esc worked in the stock 1/8 mad drift and i just wanted to see my ofna run but didnt get to move at all

man that sucks I feel ur pain.
im thinking that u might had a dead short somewhere. were the reciver and servo working before?
because if they had a short they would of caused the ESC's BEC to fry
how confident are u that it was all connected correctly??? ive seen it all on here lately.... one guy plugged the balance plug into his receiver...

ok everything is working now that i put mamda max pro on it but after a i open it up the car will stop and i have to wait a few to run again and im running 4s any ideas why it cuts out the temps isnt bad at all still pretty cool
