Default K60 mounting orientation ( can I rotate it 90 or 180 degrees)?

As luck would have it the fuel fitting lines directly up with a former. Does the orientation matter, or in other words do the electrical connections and label have to be on top? Rotating the turbine in the mount 90 or 180 degrees would save me from having to get the dremel tool out.

Thanks in advance for your time,

Pip

Pip,
can you post a photo?
i don't believe the orientation is critical once the turbine is running but it is during startup.
a nice feature of the fuel port on the Kingtech G model turbines is that it swivels 360 degrees. Can you point it rearward and loop the fuel line to come in from behind?

Pippip,

The optimum position for starting purposes, is the orientation it comes from the factory. Once it is running the position really doesn't matter. You can rotate the turbine to get the fitting where you need it but try and keep it to a minimal and you shouldn't have any issues. The internal kero plug is towards the top of the turbine and if you rotate it 180* it will be at the bottom and can cause a flamier start. Just keep an eye on it and IF it gives you starting issues (probably won't) get out the dremel.

Hope this helps,

Dirk
