Default Traxxas T Maxx doesnt move

hello ive got a tmaxx and the engine lights up but doesn move if you try and move manually it feels like the breaks are on even when you press the throttle, and i plug in a new steering servo and it doesnt work, any ideas or anyone have this problem?

You state the engine "lights up" . Do you mean that the engine starts and runs ?
If so with the engine running and you pull the throttle trigger the engine rpm increases (speeds up) but the truck doesn't move ? If so there is probably an issue with the clutch.
You state you "plug in a new servo and it doesn't work" . What doesn't work; the new servo ? If both the original servo and the new steering servo won't work but the throttle servo works then you have either a bad receiver or transmitter. .

You're going to have to be more specific before we can better help you diagnose you issue. Are there any unusual sounds coming from the truck's drive train? Does the engine sound bogged down? Is anything visibly different looking from when it worked last? There are quite a few possibilities for a vehicle not moving when the throttle is pulled. Electronics also can be flaky, so you'll have to better explain what is happening with that situation too.
