Has anybody tried the O/S gas glow plug on engines other than O/S engines ? What kind of results did you get? Is it possible to do away with a module battery and module.
Gas engine performance less the module and battery would be ideal.

I have tested and flown the DL 30DLE20 and Valley View 20 on the Gas Glo plug. All ran better then I expected .The DLE 30 ran the best.I much prefer the spark ignition.I have put spark back on all of them.
If you try it,Do not try and make the glo plug glo bright red it will burn it out.Ha friend who has flow The GG for two seasons with the same GG plug on GG OS engines.What engine are you thinking about? You have to use starter for first start of the day then most will hand start.Have not tried it in cold weather.I wrote about this somewhere back in RCU or Flying Giants forum.Just have to look back ,I do not remember where it was.At 82 I have CRS.LOL.
