Default 88" Extra 260/300 CG location

Looking for a manual on this airframe or at least a cg location. Im hoping someone can help me out!

Do you fly 3D, Sport, or IMAC? Usually manuals tends to give 3D settings. This is general statement. For IMAC you want to be around 25%-30% MAC. I got an spreadsheet to estimate the CG if you want to do the estimates.

This is a airframe I got from a friend with no manual. I just need a CG to get it airborne safely and ill adjust from there. I just don't want it taking off tail heavy and becoming unflyable. I was just going to CG it at the front of the wing tube and hope for the best.

The problem is that not necesarily the wing tube is the best reference. I would agree that in general could be used.

The CG calculator says that is close, i just dont have a definite answer as to where it should be. The front of the wing tube is roughly 25-33% of the cord

OK. Looks like you should be fine using that CG.
