The ability to store turbine parameters came when JetCat added electronics to the turbine front board (the so called "chip inside").
I believe this occurred with the introduction of the "SE" models and has continued from there. This stores a number of parameters for the individual turbine. Prior to this, the ECU had all of the parameters in it.
If you have a plain P-120, no "SE", then it does not have the chip inside.
