Default Evolution 15cc wiring

They say you cannot teach an old dog new tricks, but I bought an Evolution 15cc with my first exposure to electronic ignition. And I am confused as to how to hook up all the wiring. I can figure out most of them because they have fail-safe connectors, but there seems to be one extra female connector that I don't know what to do with. The owners manual does not have a wiring diagram to help me out.
Anybody know where there is a wiring diagram for this engine? Or a generic diagram?
At almost 87 years old (next month) my cerebellum doesn't work like it used to.
Any help will be appreciated.

I have no experience with your engine. However, you should have one wire set that goes to the battery, one (3 wire) set that goes to the sensor, and of course the plug wire. If you have another 3 wire lead left over, it is likely a hook up for a digital tach which you can either use or ignore.

Yep, that's the deal. Here's the instructions for you:

www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.spektrumrc.com/ProdInfo/Files/EVOE15GX-Manual_EN.pdf&ved=0ahUKEwjQponIn6vWAhVLyWMKHbojDFM QFggkMAA&usg=AFQjCNFUJKu96g_UmvpzwCuLe129KSmKbQ

When that page opens, click "Download", if necessary and it will download a .pdf file of the instructions for your engine.

AV8OR: Thanks, but for some reason the hot link doesn't work.

Sorry about that. It worked when I posted it, but now it won't work for me either. I'm working from bed while recovering from a major back operation with a little "Kindle" computer and it is really finicky and difficult.

I am attaching the file to this post for you. If that doesn't work, we'll go to Private Messages and e-mail.

That extra pigtail can also be used for telemetry if you are using Spectrum radio gear. That's rather neat actually. When I set up the telemetry on my 62cc Extra with Hitec radio gear, I had to mount an extra sensor to do so. I do love my Hitec Aurora 9 radio however....

AV9TOR: Thanks. I read the page 8 instructions, but was not sure that I visualized the wiring correctly. I did my best. So now I will try it out!

They have an interesting break in procedure in that manual that I basically agree with, though some would probably argue the point.

They do recommend using a 32:1 oil ratio after break in though, while in engines under 20cc I personally stay with 20:1 for added engine protection. That, I likely WILL get an argument about! (There's actually nothing wrong with 32:1 after break in if you use a quality synthetic oil....)

+1!
My gassers run from 15cc, up to 35cc. I use one mix of 32:1 using top quality synthetic to keep it simple.
My EV15cc is one of the first batch without the pumped carby, and I fly the snot out of it
