Default Painting Sunglasses on Pilot Figures

This also works on goggles, lenses, or anything else that needs a very high gloss finish.

I always paint the lenses black as in my opinion this looks a lot better and more natural than other colors.

Once the paint has cured, mix a small amount of 5 minute epoxy and cover the area (I use a toothpick) that needs to be glossy with the epoxy. This leaves a surface that is every bit as glossy as glass.


Here is an example of this method.
