HSD sequencer?
Hello,
just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the pneumatic electric sequencers? It seems they come in some skymaster planes, but I’ve never seen one being used. I am asking because I am in the process of rebuilding a skymaster a10 and I’m looking into getting an “all in one” solution for the pneumatics. Just curious if these are any good.

Hey Terry, I have received no email, tracking number or the sequencer.
And to the OP, the pic that Terry posted is of the original dreamworks version of the hsd sequencer. I have 4 of them that I’ve used for years and I am replacing one that worked for me for 10 years. I love them. Just use a water trap, it’s an absolute must. If I ever receive the hsd one, I’ll be able to compare it.

I ordered and received one of the new HSD sequencer to replace the original airpower (dreamworks just re-sold the airpower unit) EVSD-5U I had in my SM hawk. It was almost a plug and play replacement and
It works almost exactly the same except for one major annoying difference.....
The delay the valve applies is not just to the gear door channels. i.e. my gear door remain open after gear extension so "mode 1" on the valve. When I hit retract, the sequencer waits the set delay (2.5s in my case) before cycling the gear up. really annoying, I need to get my gear up quickly after takeoff before the airspeed builds up to high and causes the mains issues.
Also when you hit the retract switch you feel like something isn't working waiting that long. not happy about it, but i guess it is what it is. it would be much better if you could control delays between any of the sequencing of the cycles
