Clark BT-7 Model 1935
Thought best to post a dedicated thread to Clark's new BT-7 after he posted some new renderings. It's to be released as the 1935 model but Clark is considering several turret options including 1937, BT-7A in addition to the previously mentioned BT-42 that's already set.
As with the Cromwell, there will be an initial sales period to solicit orders starting mid-April followed by prototype "golden" sample after which payment will be due after presentation. Delivery will follow in August.
The BT-7, Cromwell & several others are now listed Clark's website so look for more details & info to appear in the coming weeks ahead. You'll be able order from both from his website & Facebook group page. Not sure but believe dealers will also be taking pre-orders. Best to check his Facebook page for on-going development news.

Bt-7 / BT-42
BT-7 progress is running a tad slow but coming along. Clark posted these overnight.
Am looking towards seeing the other turret options.

I guess orders starting mid-April aren't happening? I want to pick one up now that I will be back to work in a few weeks...

Yea, Clark is behind schedule after relocating to their new facility. Last I heard several weeks ago he expects to offer the BT-7 for sale this month. Stay tuned.

Let me know when an 'in hand' production prototype is available. Some lovely computer generated images are all well and fine, but no businessman in his right mind would order multiples of a model that may be available for delivery in August.
I presume the hull is plastic? What motive system is used? What it the warranty on the electronics and the model in general? Is this a 'one time' production effort? How will problems with parts and electronics be handled, 'return to China' for service at customer's expense?

Bob, recommend re-reading the initial post above as well the related Cromwell thread where you'll see plainly stated that Clark has no intention of taking anyone's money until he produces a master sample AFTER first ascertaining there is enough interest in proceeding with production plans. If you have any specific questions, feel free to visit his Facebook group & post there. Or send him a PM. He's quite good at replying.
Keep in mind I'm just passing along the info since Clark doesn't partake of forums much anymore. Personally, I have no qualms about his plans given what we've seen from others that we know all too well.

I don't conduct business via facebook nor do I do facebook or twitter. He's sitting next door to a vast potential market but without specifics he won't get too many potential retailers, let alone telling all what the retailer cost is. As you mentioned, we both know shady folks from down his way from the past and while not tarring him with the same brush, replacements for the three electronics packages I bought for the T55 through Hooben would be a kindness. He certainly was not good about replying to my emails back then when Hooben refused to take the electronics back and replace them, telling me to email him. He never replied to a one. Last summer the three units went in the trash.

Really excited about this tbh, I LOVE the BT series, and it's going to be 1/16? Yes please!
I am a bit curious if it's only going to be able to run on its tracks, I assume so as I figure having it capable to also drive with its wheels and to be able to drive like a car would be too many moving parts or something like that.
Either way, really excited (:

Clark RTR Tank Order Period Now Open
Clark kicked off his open order period last night on Facebook its not just for the BT-7 or Cromwell but for all models on his immediate list.
BT-7, Cromwell & M113A are certainly at the front since design is mostly complete; Matilda & Mark IV will undoubtedly take more time, my guess they'll follow in 2020 even though they're included here.
BT-7 (BT-7A turret option offered separately)
BT-42
Cromwell
M113A
Matilda III
Mark IV
All he's looking to see now is what model garners the most interest & will proceed initially with any model that first hits 100.
You can post your wish list now on Facebook & check his website in the coming days for the updated order page. Feel free to contact Clark directly @ [email protected] or via any Clark dealer/distributor.

Haha sorry, short storyish, red is my favorite color and I'm very much interested in history, mostly the Soviet Union fascinates me but history still, along with all nations armor, aircraft, weapons, tactics, etc.
So, R3Dsoviet I picked

Looks like BT-7 is leading the pack. Clark's been working on the internals & posted some new design work over the past few days.

Posted by Clark today:
BT-7 Last update, due to copyright protection, we will not release more internal CAD picture before gold sample comes out. Given how this market works, I can certainly understand his reluctance to post anymore details. Last I heard BT-7 prototype will be available in August. Stay tuned.

BT-7, BT-A & BT-42 Final Specs - Now on ClarkModel.com
Clark posted his final specs & pricing on his website. He'll offer his Premium hobby level release first with some features that I didn't expect including the ability to drive & steer without tracks just like the real tank! I'm in!

Prototype due in August so start saving your rubles.
He'll offer the BT-7A & BT-42 turrets separately & was told it will take no more than 10 seconds to change out on the field. I like the way he thinks.

No idea at this point but its certainly now into 2020. All I know is it took Clark far longer to relocate this shop to Xiamen, Fujian so everything has been delayed. If you are on FB, drop him a note.
