Quick 60 (pro?)...I have one, anyone else?
Hey fellas! I have a quick 60, or it may be a 60 pro, I’m not exactly sure. I bought it back in 2006 and have just taken it back down out of the rafters to complete it.
I don’t have it done yet, but I wanted to see if there are any others that have any experience with the quick RC helicopters. I don’t see a specific form for quick worldwide here, but I’m hoping that maybe someone here may have seen something somewhere else?
I do have a molded fiberglass Fuselage (Twinstar 355N)made by Steve hunt over in Australia, that I plan on installing after it’s flown am properly adjusted.

QWW (Quick World Wide) went out of business in the early to mid 2000's I want to say 2003 or 2004? They were cool blingy helicopters with the fancy billet aluminum but from what guys said on the forums back then is that they were not quality machines. I wouldnt fly it. Old helis like that are best for experienced pilots that sunday fly them and possibly someone that is a machinist that can make parts for it. If you crash, its going in the dumpster.

Quick 60
I bought the Quick 60 Back in about 2003 and it has almost no plastic parts. One of the highest quality machines of the day. I found it to be the smoothest helis the we owned. I still have it and am now in the process of converting to electric. Should have it done in a couple of weeks after I complete my JR Robensen R22 conversion.

Quick 60
I haven't started it yet, I have all the parts for an electric and FBL conversion. The JR Robenson went well and is flying good, Then I got side tracked doing an electric and FBL on my Kavan Jet Ranger and a MA X-Cell 60 that went really well and flying good. Weather here isn't good for me to go out testing so back to conversions! I don't see a lot of simularities between a Quick and a TSK.

Is that a Quick UK or Quick World Wide? 2 separate companies. I dont remember if Quick UK made helicopters or if it was just parts. Quick world wide was not the best quality in the day.

QWW was a company owned by Irvin Siner. Initially they were one of two US distributors of the top quality TSK line out of Japan. After a time they started designing and manufacturing their own, cheaper copies. These were OK helis nut nowhere near in quality to TSK with softer aluminum and plastic moldings.
When set up properly they were pretty smooth but unlike TSK, under hard use they did not hold up near as well as my TSK's did.
