It would appear that someone has applied so much elbow grease that they have polished away the whole centre section!!!

That price is pretty steep for a wreck like that. You can find a statically restored one for sale in Ireland for $220K

Bargain at 148 grand. (Someone's been smoking too much pot and think their turd is, in fact, gold.)

Who cares what the guy is asking? I thought it is an interesting link to post, has some interesting photos of parts of the machine that
might be useful to us modelers. Like anything the seller can ask for whatever they want. I'd be more concerned about the legitimacy
of their rights to sell it at all if I was a potential buyer- I mean why post it on ebay?? there are plenty of armor collector sites where one could post it. When dug up hulks from swaps in eastern countries sell for a fortune this old M3 isn't so bad but whatever, the seller can ask for whatever they want...

I happened to be looking for M3 stuff on ebay as I'm approaching the end of building out an Armortek M3 Lee and I'd like some detailed closeup images of the 'Protectoscope' and hatch mechanisms for the front driver's hatch...

Thedrive.com is about to auction off an M4 A1 grizzly. I'll be checking back later to see how much it went for. I thought it said the estimate was $300,000, but that sounds kind of low because this tank is in really, really good shape.

I thought that auction ended last November with the high bid of $480,000 not meeting the reserve the seller put on it?

That's possible, I never did find an auction date.
