Sledgehammer or Badlands or Other 2.8" Tires
I'm often on the hunt for the largest tires I can safely put on my Stampede 4x4 (XL-5 converted to brushless 3s) without it looking ridiculous. I'm currently running Super Swampers but want something a little bigger with different tread. The Traxxas Sledgehammers appear to be the largest 2.8" available. I'm also considering the MX28 Badlands. I typically bash off road. Are there any other tires I should be considering? I'm thinking I don't want to convert to 17mm and go too big due to strain on the drive train / gearing / engine heat? Please share your thoughts! Thank you.
