Any change in Aerodynamics if mounting a motor lower than the thrust-line?
I'm currently converting my enlarged 89" AstroHog that was powered by a 2.1 Moki to a Rimfire 50cc electric motor. (Yep, the one in my avatar)I had the Moki set on the center thrust line as was indicated on the plans. It had no right or down thrust. The 3.25" diameter of the Rimfire motor is a very large fit and I was wondering if I could set it about a 1/2" lower than the center thrust-line. Have any of you guys ever done this? Will there be any kind of noticeable aerodynamic changes I can expect by doing it?
