Talking BVM Customer service.

Back in November I started talking to and Ordered a BVM Bandit. The first one that arrived had shipping damage. BVM replaced it right away. They also went out of their way to make shipping the damaged one back a piece of cake.

I met several BVM folks at the Tucson Jet rally a couple months later. They were awesome to talk to and buy goodies from.

Recently had a small mishap with my Bandit and they have been super on getting me the right parts and other goodies I wanted.

Yes, BVM planes do tend to cost a little more.. and they deserve it. The customer service is by far much better than any I have dealt with in this hobby for over 35 years. There is no other company that will provide the service and support they do.

If you are looking at planes on the market and you are looking at BVM, look no further.

The comments in this thread are exactly what influenced my decision to just order a new jet thru BVM. I don’t want to be a beta tester for someone else’s product. I’m looking forward to arrival of the new jet in 6 months. Will come with a great manual and setup instructions written by the BVM team after extensive testing. Time to get in the air is minimized by not having to fix “problems”.

I’ve had two instances with BVM where they took care of issues. They are all great at BVM but in my case, Rob in particular went above and beyond to make sure things were taken care of. They are the best in the business that I personally have dealt with. Can’t go wrong with BVM.

Some of us got no use for Aeropanda after they sold me a Core radio to be shipped in two days. Instead they took it and the other radio they got to a jet show and sold them both. When I finally got them to answer questions about where my radio was as I'd paid for it when I told them I wanted it. Took ten days to get my money back because they wanted to keep my $2800 and wait for six weeks to maybe get one from the next shipment. I had to go through a string of lies to find out what actually happened to "my" radio.

I've done business with BVM and Aeropanda. Both are top notch and best customer service in the business. I highly recommend them both.

So I know this is about BVM but by coincidence had some above and beyond service from Aeropanda this morning. (Since they are mentioned in this thread)

The wrong part was shipped, but it was at least 50% my fault. I received it and then started trying to modify it to make it fit. I let the guys know it didn’t fit and they said I had the wrong part. I told them I could make it work and they said ok. They emailed me 24hrs later and said to call them, I did and they said they didn’t feel comfortable with me running a modified part and they were shipping me the correct one.

I thought it was awesome that they, A) took the time, B) cared enough, and C) shipped the part no cost to me when I was at least partially to blame for getting the wrong one in the first place.

Thanks Manny @ Aeropanda, that was very much appreciated. I have no doubt I would have received similar service from BVM as well. Both will continue getting my business.

I needed parts for my BVM Rafale, jet is probably close to 20 years old at this point and I can still get formers made and gear overhauled, and I know they will do there best to keep me flying. Not may in today in the RC jet business can give that support.
