Default Hostetler 108.5 in WS wing securement question/redesign?

Hello everyone. I bought a gorgeous Hostetler Bonanza A-36 and don't care for the current wing securement setup. Thinking of a different means to keep the wing in place maybe with a pass through bolt or something?
There is currently a rectangle spar channel built into the fuselage where 2 large wing spars are inserted then secured from the outside top of the wing with 2 medium size wood screws. (Bottom picture)
There are two reasons I want to redesign the securement:
1. Don't care for the heads of the screws sitting on top of the wing.
2. Eventually the wood threads will likely wear out after repeatedly being threaded in/out several times.

This is a gigantic airplane so the new system needs to be quite robust to handle the forces associated with flying a large DLE 85CC gasser. (108.5 inch wingspan)

The current system, wing spars slide into 2 channels then screws hold the spars in place.

Since this is my flagship airplane, I'd like to maybe find something that I can paint white so it isn't very noticeable...
or...maybe something where the bolt head near the leading edge looks like a fuel cap and the rear most one lays flush with the wing.

I feel that having 2 screws poking up from such a beautiful wing is a travesty of justice!! This airplane deserves to be perfect since the builder spent a year creating her and I'm going to be flying VERY conservatively as to not risk even a scratch on this gorgeous creation.

Thanks for any ideas anyone has. Appreciate any input.

Sophia
