Default What size plane for a 35cc dle gas engine

I have a DLE 35RA gas engine and was looking for a kit or arf that would fit this engine. I am am no interested in arobatics just a simple flyer. Any suggestions.

Hempel 1/4 scale Clipped Wing Cub. Had one for 11 years. Armchair-easy to fly, zero bad habits, and very easy aerobatics
if you choose to. They are a lot of plane for the money. And they're an ARF. Three color choices, too.

Thanks for the input! But I already have a 1/4 scale sig cub that I have already built with a OS 160 twin installed ( not yet flown) but I appreciate the input.

Probably anything around 2m wing span would do good with 35cc engine.
What type of plane do you like?

A lot depends on the wing loading and type of plane, i.e. a floater or an all out 3-D. Your DLE-35RA is listed as producing 19.8 pounds of thrust at sea level. Here is a link to a 96" span 11.33 pound Super Decathlon that should work well on a 35cc gasser https://www.chiefaircraft.com/flm-f043-y.html

If you can find the kit, the 1/3 scale Sig Spacewalker (104" wingspan and 20 pounds) would also fly well with a 35cc gasser.

If you are into 3-D flying, then go for something in the 76" span range such as this 12.8 pound acrobat:

You could browse through the AMA plans catalog and filter your search for gas engines.

I really like the Top Flight Stinson Reliant with the DLE 35RA. Great combo and plenty of power for sport flying and scale as well.
