dual tank mod for savage ss
what would i need to do this and could someone give me some instructions on how to do this. if not, could you point me in the right direction for some instruction for it?
i'm getting my savage hopefully within 2 weeks and i would like to put in the dual tank mod right when i get the truck so i don't have to go through the hassle of only being able to run with half the tank.

Go to www.savage-central.com Its the best Savage site on the net. Its got endless how to's with detailed pics for every Savage hop up you would ever want.
Do yourself a favor and run your Svage for a while before doing the mod. Unless you want to do it just for fun. I have had my Savage for over a year now and have 3+ gallons through the truck and have never seen the 1/2 tank leaning issue. I think alot of poor tuning is blamed on the fuel tank.

I also have run a savage for about 8 liters now... I have tried 3 different engines and they all ran great, full-empty no problem at all. One guy at my LHS had a problem ...it turns out his tune was a bit off, but after I modified his fuel lines even he could tune it !
I recomend the shortest possible feed line and about 7 inches of exhaust pressure line with a fuel filter on both, mount the feed line filter down below tank level. Also never try to tune a cold engine and use 20% Nitro with somthing like a OS A5 plug.
The tank mod is not requied with a proper tune
