Default xtm 24.7 for tmaxx

I noticed there are several types of this motor, which one would be the easiest to use with a xtm conversion kit?

Any of them will work....depends what you want to spend

TM

PS(FlameproofSuiteOn): The T-max does not really handle the extra power well in stock form ...and unfortunately(tho many may not believe it UNTIL they have done it !!) to upgrade your T-Max to a point where it will be durable and reliable with the 1/8th scale power, you will need to spend as much(AND more) than a NIB Savage25 would cost !, no-****, no-lies, fact. Ask yourself whats a better deal..... ??

you need one of the pull start, standard shaft versions

Finially agree with Mac, the hop-ups to make a decent Super Maxx will be double a RTR 1/8th monster like a Savage, Dominator, etc.

.... the 24.7 has had its issues, thier carbs suck(but I think the lastest ones are improved), IMO the 24.7 is THE best bang for buck you can buy...nothing in that price range has the low end power..its explosive, very sweet engine when its setup right, mine has close to 50 liters of fuel thru it ....and the pinch is still good !, the rod could do with changing but its really amazing how much abuse and use the 24.7 can take.

I ran a XTM 24.7 engine in my t-maxx. It ran great, it was real quick. But I upgraded to a Wasp .26. I still have the 24.7 engine if you want it. I'm only trying to get 120 shipped. Its up to you. I have been slowly but surely upgrading the t-maxx to handle the power of a 1/8 scale. I say just replace it when it brakes. Well Good luck with your T-maxx!

I wanted to get a savage 25 but it was 30 bucks more and i didnt have enough but i am satisfied with my t-maxx i think it is a nice car.I am going down to the track to see how it handles. And if you just got one i say dont glue the tires all the way around as they instructed just glue it in 4 spots all across from eachother it saves you from buying new rims.
