Mod Orion Elite motor on Piccolo
Guys,
I just ordered the Modified Orion Elite Motor from Hobby Lobby. not cheap though. However, I got a couple of questions. The motor seems smaller than the stock piccolo one. Also, what screws do I buy to hold the motor in place? Where can I buy the pinions? Can I use the stock Piccolo motor pinion if I can get it off? it's a 10 tooth pinion. Will this motor really put out more power than the stock piccolo one cuz it seems much smaller and when I hooked it up it didn't make that much noise. Thanks guys in advance.

I had to get 1.5 mm screws to mount the motor but I also found that the shaft from the orion was very short and there were a few issues there but that was with a skylark. I have since tried to mount it on a HB and have had to do some major cutting mods to the frame to make it work ok ...for now its sitting in the tool box for when I need it and I will remount it
