Default 2 Stroke Ouch

This might not fall under this catagory but it was done by a O.S. .91FX. I was breaking in a O.S. 91FX and it was late and of course it was the last tank I was going to run for the night when I inserted 2 fingers of my right hsnd in an APC 13/8 turning at anout 1/2 throttle. Well needless to say it was it was INDEED my last run of the day. It cut very deep and additional surgery will need to be done just to get my finger usuable again...so the moral of the story is"I SCREWED UP"
I did find out that the ).S..91 takes a lot of bech running before it will give the performsnve it has been claimed to have. The engine runs great and very reliable spinning an APC 13/8 om 15% Omega fuel but time will tell once it is mounted in the plane.

skychief666....

....OUCH !....I hope your finger gets well....
I made a similar "dummy move" myself last year. I was
running a twin engine plane....and found out the hard way
that the outboard engine should be started first....after I
started the inbord engine ....and then stopped it from
running with my left thumb....[X(]....

....another meaning for "dumb thumbs", I guess....

Dave.
